Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the work however there are some more than others that need to be "refreshed" with procedures and the importance for an accountant to stay in compliance with the Auditors and Company Procedures.

Management doesn't manage. Working all hours is expected and not appreciated.

    Pros

Salary pretty good, however company wide pay freeze for 3 years.

    Cons

Management is either incompetent, or never around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The word manage does not mean to be in the office rarely, and when you are the door is shut.

Former Employee - Insurance Broker  in  Vancouver, BC (Canada)
Former Employee - Insurance Broker in Vancouver, BC (Canada)

    Pros

Great training and continued opportunities to learn, tuition reimbursement, potential to advance in the company, fun atmosphere in the branches away from the head office.

    Cons

Poor branch level management and no contact with upper level management, terrible work/life balance. Constantly understaffed and always demanding more hours/days out of top performing employees, constant calls on days off etc.., poor scheduling, salary below competitors

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Top producing auto agents need to be treated and paid better. Your best talent gets all their training here, then moves on to other companies for more respect and compensation.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
