Pros

Close knit and friendly staff, relaxed environment, you're actually helping out the community by giving a hand up (not a hand out)!

Cons

I honestly can't think of any! There are minor communication issues at times, but nothing out of the ordinary for a local non-profit.

    Pros

Great organization with great people, a mission that matters.

    Cons

Sometimes it seems like there's more focus on keeping the volunteers happy then getting things done. Volunteers want to get things done, it's why they're there.

    Advice to Management

Trust the site staff more and don't subcontract out so much. Every other Habitat Affiliate in the country operates as its own GC. Trust your staff to do more than drywayll and paint.
