Pros

Flexible schedule and an easy going atmosphere. You are surrounded by dedicated people who are willing to put forth the effort and support each other.

Cons

Nonprofit is a slow paced industry. The job can be very demanding and you must be able to multitask. Those who excel are typically underpaid for their efforts.
