    Pros

Haggen is a fun and exciting place to work. Creating lasting customer relations in the community. Gave enough empowerment at the checker level to resolve problems quickly.

    Cons

Horrible work life balance. Have to put up with a lot of garbage from the general public. They don't realize that at the store level we have no control over pricing. Corporate has lost contact with what it is like to work at the store level.

    Advice to Management

Have more compassion for your great employees is they have an affliction or addiction. By not helping and only cutting them loose, you are losing fantastic assets.
