    Pros

    The people are the best part. Smart, creative, friendly, you will make professional connections and probably personal friends here. Great benefits.

    Cons

    Training is sorely lacking for certain positions. Not all those hired for non-entry level positions are actually at the professional level they should be.

    Advice to Management

    This is already happening, but encourage and reward growth. Seek a diverse range of clients.

    I worked at Hall & Partners full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    The people. H&P had at the time some of the best people I have ever worked with. They made it truly special. The work and clients were interesting but what made it special was how I looked forward to coming to work with such exemplary people.

    Cons

    Got too top heavy. Constant changing and shifting leadership team made it impossible to establish tone for NY office. Lacked natural leaders. Global CEO treated employees like children while asking them to behave like adults.

    Advice to Management

    Find a new global CEO. Stop trying to be Millward Brown. Or stop advertising yourself as a unique alternative. Remember that the people are what made Hall and Partners great. But if you chase them away you'll end up being another has been MR firm.
