I have been working at Halliburton full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Lots of great colleagues. There are many different avenues one can take. Sales, operations, research, field, support, etc.

    Cons

Long hours. Management stresses present ism over performance. Difficult to schedule time off and for training. Very formal management style.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Profit sharing or royalties would really motivate the staff. A 2-4% raise only keeps up with inflation and rising health benefits
