    Cons

    long work hours sometimes
    always on call
when times are slow in the energy industry they have to cut jobs (just a fact, not really a con of Halliburton but just the industry in general)
hard to get in if you don't know someone

    Pros

Global scope & scale that strives to make a positive impact to their client's goals for improving production & reserves. An incredible company, with excellent people and a reputation second to none; true growth potential is greater than that being realized presently

    Cons

Too focused on MBA graduates & training all deemed potential leaders through TAMU Business School. Approach does not appear inclusive towards the diverse peoples & cultures represented within such a global company. Too conservative in risk capital exposure, due to an excessive Accounting focus towards quarterly results

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

MBAs & Accountants are a dime a dozen; literally. Scientists, Engineers & Field Operations personnel make it all happen & are what are extremely difficult to replace; it's what your customers want to see & are willing to pay for.
