Pros

Great when Oil is on the upswing. In some instance you can make your own way through the company.

Cons

It's the good-ol-boy network in spades. It's not what you know it's who you know. Also, if you get a little on the old side they want to shove you out the door.

Advice to Senior Management

Figure out how to make money while having morals at the same time. I know it's difficult because the stock holders have you by the nuts but at least pretend to be decent.
