Good Company... Could Be Better

Account Representative (Current Employee)
Houston, TX

ProsOpportunity for advancement is there if you work for it. Local management has the discretion to promote you or not, so it can be good.

ConsOnce again, local management has the discretion to promote you. If you aren't one of the "good ole boys", you might be left behind. Always network outside your local area.

Advice to Senior ManagementAdvance the people that show talent and that can bring something new to the company. The "good ole boys" aren't going to keep the company together forever.

I have been working at Halliburton

Pros: Money is much better than I earned before, but not competitive with the oil companies.
