I worked at Hallmark full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Helping customers through lives happiest times and worst times. You get to help customers pick out the card that can make someones day. You hear great stories and you turn into someone that can listen to them for a few minutes and it makes there day. I have the best customer stories with Hallmark. I only left because I moved out of state and there were very few corporate stores in the state I moved to. Working for a corporate store was a lot of fun. You were a person and not just a number. Great co-workers and upper management.

    Cons

The only con that comes to mind was at the end of each season you had to hand scan all the cards all the discontinued were torn up and thrown away. There should of been a recycling program in place. I am not even sure there are any more corporate stores around. I am pretty sure my store is now closed so it was a good thing I made a move when I did.
