Pros

Great atmosphere, fun place to work when you have a good staff

Cons

Pay sucks and some owners are threatened when their SAs know more about the business then they do.

Advice to Management

Get over yourselves and RESPECT the fact that some SAs with spa knowledge AND experience are willing to go the extra mile for the measly $9/per hour you pay them. Either enter a business venture that you are COMPLETELY familiar with OR allow someone that does help you. Otherwise you will set yourself up for immediate failure.

    Pros

The spa stays busy and management really works with you to keep your schedule the way you want it. Good sense of camaraderie among the other therapists. All pay is on a commission-per-service basis plus tips. Trades between therapists are encouraged. Very good clientele for the most part.

    Cons

The pay is on a commission-per-service basis - with their service rates so low, the commission is not the greatest per service. The discount on skin care products isn't very much for employees.

    Advice to Management

Doing a good job. Just always remember that the therapists job is labor intensive, always remember time for breaks.
