I have been working at Harden HealthCare

Pros

They really care about work-life balance, professional development and its impact on personal development. The compensation was very good for my experience and education. They try to reward employees in ways that are more than just a certificate or pat on the back.

Cons

Its a private company that is strongly rooted in Christian religion. Be prepared to pray at meetings and witness bible-study happening in conference rooms. Not a problem, but sometimes those people are of other religions or do not actively practice get negative responses from co-workers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sometimes communications need to be short and succinct. Not everything has to be fluffed and padded.

I worked at Harden HealthCare full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Hours were reasonable
    Diverse
    Talented intelligent employees
    Facilities were clean
Very friendly culture and could ask many for help that's easily given

    Cons

There is an "executive headquarters" and a different building far down the road where another "headquarters" where everyone below them works- communicating only by video every quarter.
    Pay was below market rate
Benefits were expensive and unaffordable for many
    Traditional corporate office policies
Employee recognition was rare for going above and beyond
Rewards were not given to any who questioned processes or suggested new ideas
    Little to no training
Little to no growth opportunities within the business

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

PSA deserve more pay and will provide a better service for Hardens customers.
    Recognition programs should be started
Harden has some excellent employees that would do much more for Harden if appreciated for the time they spend working for Harden

I have been working at Harden HealthCare full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You will get a paycheck if you work. You will get to go to the corp office for some training.

    Cons

Churn and burn company. You will never get a promotion. You will be ruled by intimidation. You will be bullied. You can count on getting no support. Employees are not happy. Do a drop in to the offices look at the employee's faces.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out of the tower and in the field, less kissing babies and hand shaking and more problem solving and solution finding. Turn over is a key indicator you have a problem.
