Current Employee - Administrative Coordinator - C Level in Melbourne, FL

I have been working at Harris full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Excellent benefits - but will have to wait and see how Obamacare affects it. It is a job.

Cons

Unless you are an engineer of some type, opportunities are limited. We are again Top Heavy with too many of those requiring "Face Time" and wearing brown noses. Too many are prepared to "leap" at the mere utterance of those above, regardless of outcome.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper Management - Cut the fluff from the top and leave the base alone

Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Harris full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great benefits, 9/80 work schedule
The people are all very friendly and working with multiple groups is usually pretty easy.

    Cons

Slow work being done by old people. No one wants to change or improve systems because "if it aint broke dont fix it." The newest slogan is "do more with less" so the work-life balance is skewing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote based on merit, not years with the company
