The buyout by Harris Corporation is leading to the downfall of the company.

I worked at Harris full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. Past employees
    2. Free Coffee

    Cons

There use to be a sense of a group effort to provide effective client solutions. That went out the window with the following developments: moving the corporate office decision makers to Washington DC and Melbourne, Fla.; no more local relationship to the oil and gas customers; massive layoffs for the past three years; low two percent raises which results in mass of experienced employees leaving; executive management not making any corrective decisions; and HR department lacking qualifications for their jobs. No more teamwork in this organization. I expect it to close within two years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire the CEO in Washington DC,
Get Melbourne, Fla.'s Harris Corporation office out of the oil and gas, maritime business.
Stopping paying upper management all the wages and no raises for the worker bees
Bring back PACT behavior because its every employee for himself. it's like being on the "Big Brother" TV show.

    Disapproves of CEO
