    Recognize that cashiers do have to be working at a quick pace. Bagging is important, but quality is better than quantity.

    Pros

    Bonus check bi-annually. That's all I can say that's positive. Seriously.

    Cons

    Non-communicative management: important personnel changes -- no information at all. Fresh Foods Manager was transferred to another branch and immediate supervisor and store manager didn't tell anyone in the department. Also, barely any heads up re holiday promos, non-sufficient training. Supervisor would hire additional cake decorators with no notice to existing ones. Suddenly a person just shows up! Hours sucked because of poor planning on supervisor's part. Immature, uneducated management -- all graduated from Hee-Haw High and they've had this job since graduation -- 20 years ago! Oh, and NO employee discounts!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of dead-weight, inefficient, ineffective managment and create positive morale within the ranks.
