    I have been working at Harris Teeter part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Easy interview, enjoy having boy employees, nice starting salary, clean stores, bonus checks

    Cons

    Management sucks, management gets into drama, pick favorites, discriminate against girls, on call sucks, hours are either way too much or not barely enough, give all the hours to the favorites, write you up if you call out. Wrote me up because I missed a shift because family was in the hospital.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get your managers in line before they ruin your business. Don't write people up for calling out.

    Pros

    Bonuses,somewhat of a flexible schedule,401k

    Cons

    Lazy Managers,bad excuses,some Department Managers just make schedule around their personal schedule and connive ways of getting more then 2 days off a week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay more ATTENTION to who is really working hard in the department's and get rid of the employees that want to take 3-4 breaks a day including their lunch and don't really care on completing trucks and their responsibilities.
