I worked at Harry and David part-time (less than an year)

Pros

Very flexible hours; Company is very conscious about employee health; Break room has a variety of baked samples (even the chocolates) and fruits; Great employee discounts, year-long, even for temps and holidays perks (free turkey!)

Cons

Too many calories during break hours and low pay wages (but you get a 50 cents/hour increase each year you return as seasonal employee.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to delegate more.

    Pros

    Easy to get hired for low-wage seasonal job.

    Cons

    No raises for years
    Difficult to get or retain benefits, so most people in production are working without health insurance, retirement, holiday and sick pay. Even long-time seasonal employees are kept on seasonal status to keep them from qualifying for benefits.
