Depends on which department @ Harvard, but pay is good and work-life balance amazing (thanks HUCTW)!

Proswork-life balance, perks. At non-exempt, hours are capped at 35 hours/week. Pay is good - higher than other universities. Lots of training opportunities.

ConsDepends on management - if you have a bad manager, you might be SOL. Depending on the department, opportunities for advancement might be hard to come by, resulting in many people who shift around to different departments.
