Pros

Amazing benefits
Smart people who care about what they're doing
Cambridge is fantastic
Strong union support for many employees ensures better benefits for all (non-union too)
Discounts for events around Harvard, Boston, and even nationally

Cons

Not that much as far as downsides
Could maybe streamline the application and HR appointment process

I have been working at Harvard University full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Stimulating place to work with ample opportunities for learning, collaborating with world class colleagues, and contributing to a better world.

    Cons

Fundings in many areas are heavily linked to government budget. With recent impasse in Washington, quite often many good ideas have to be on hold.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to be agile and stay close to the action.
