Hazelwood School District Employee Review

I have been working at Hazelwood School District

Pros – Co-workers are supportive and most of them care. Principals care and try to support teachers. Salary is decent. Benefits are greatly appreciated.

Cons – Students are socially promoted and pushed through classes to give appearance of high expectations. The amount of parent contact is unrealistic if taken as written. Very stressful because of the divergent socio-economic range in each class.

Advice to Senior Management – Test students and place appropriately in classes. Inform parents that they may have to support extra time in student learning at home.
