Pros

HCSC provides a pretty easy job for most people with great pay and benefits. They have great diversity programs and some fabulous leaders (like Tara Gurber and Austin Waldron).

Cons

The 80/20 rules applies heavily. 80% of the work gets done by 20% of the people. There is way too much dead weight and people that do NOTHING. There are HEAVY politics, which impact promotions, pay and other very frustrating human resource related factors. Management is many times a contributing factor. The company overall is slow moving and severley behind the times with technology.

Advice to Senior Management

They need to clean house. In order to provide opportunties for the people that are good, they need to make room.
