Pros

Some good honest folk work there, victims of fallout from major IT outsourcing (executive decision).

Cons

Nearly all the cons of working at Health Net (IT) are related to one thing: the company they choose to outsource with and the partners of that company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Switch to another outsource company or switch back to insourcing.

    Pros

Generous benefits and paid holidays. Mid-sized company offers opportunity to build relationships and explore different roles in health insurance. Rounded experience offers opportunities to advance by switching departments.

Poor IT network and support. The systems are constantly going down or being patched. Pay is not in line with industry, challenge to find advancement within departments. Usually need to seek advancement in other departments.
