Health Net Call Center Supervisor:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Health Net has an excellent company paid benefit plan, including a generous time off package and some health plans are paid at 100%. The work can be satisfying, because there are opportunities to help people. There are growth opportunities, although they can be a little random in their availability. Most of the management is relatively pleasant to get along with.

Cons

Too many jobs are being moved to lower paying locations. This is very disruptive to career growth. Communication between departments can be fragmented at times, causing duplication of effect. Upper management sometimes withholds important information from employees, making it difficult to plan effectively.

Advice to Senior Management

Stop laying off the people who built this company. It may seem like a cost saving measure, but it is a brain drain to Health Net which will no doubt benefit the competition.
