Other employees, besides upper management, make everyday tolerable.
Making a difference in a patient's life is always rewarding regardless of how poorly you are treated at the workplace.
Cons
Upper management is not responsive to employee concerns. Upper management has also decided that "micro-managing" is the best way to improve morale. Upper management is only into what makes them look good. I would not recommend this place of employment to any profession (nursing, nutritional services, speech therapists...etc.) at this time.
It is really sad when upper management is more concerned with keeping beds filled than the quality of patient care.
Advice to Senior Management
STOP "micro-managing"
Listen to employee concerns and actually do something about it
