Pros

You are working with many diversified individuals that are usually very hard working and care about the residents they serve. I've met some really great people that work in the field.

Cons

Upper managagement seems to have very little respect or trust for their employees. They often contradict what they say, and tell you what you want to hear, and not the truth. They do not treat their employees fairly, and you could easliy go years without a raise.

Advice to Senior Management

Train, train, train your employees. They will feel respected and in turn be motivated to do a better job. Be honest: your employees know when you are lying to them. Remember that turnover = $. If you treat your employees with respect and fairness, they will stay and you won't keep having to replace them.
