I have been working at Heinz full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Heinz was a top tier and amazing organziation and leader in the food industry. We had overcome our poor reputation from the 80s and 90s. Several high profile investors forced Heinz to invest in marketing a grow key brands. Profit sored and brands thrived. Today all of that is gone. The compny is a shell of what it used to be. It is a sad place, with little talent, a bad culture, dead brands, and sad employees

    Cons

Heinz has allowed British influence to kill what was once great. Heinz NA built a reputation with retailers that was best in class under former leadership. Heinz became greety and new management has destroyed all that we built. HNA carried HNZ for years and they have crushed that. The culture is crushed and of the worst at any company I have seen. All of the top talent is gone and what remains is basically what other companies would never hire. The leadership in both marketing and sales is incompetent and self absorbed. Many great leaders were forced to quit or pushed out due to things like race or sexuality. To say HNA is a mess right now is an understatement. God help this historic organization.

I have been working at Heinz full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Stellar brands in ketchup and condiments. Some frozen brands that are ok. Overseas brands are excellent. However the company and culture are fading fast with poor new leadership

    Cons

The organization is being managed by a few men that no nothing about the CPG industry in the United States. Sales is being run by a clique of older men with very little talent. The other reviews are correct in that diversity is not only not valued but actually frowned upon. Diversity in the eyes of Heinz is a female. Lastly the culture is in complete chaos and in a negative tailspin. Overworked employees are not valued at all, top talent quits daily, and great peole are managed out. As others have also mentioned there was also a very big sexual harassment case that was mishandled and the accused walked away rewarded rathar than punished. Change is needed across the board starting with leadership and Sales Board. They also hurt one of my good friends and a shopper marketing leader.
