This company has gone downhill. I've worked here for 3 years and it's not the same place as it was when being hired.

Pros

Good people work here. I love my department and the people I work with.

Cons

DOWNSIZING! Since I've started here, Heinz has had multiple downsizing's. There's no job security anymore. We sit at our desks waiting to hear who's going next. There's no job growth either. They make known that they like to move people and grow their talent but when you talk to management with your interest in a career path they do little about it.

    Pros

Great brands, well known company, great city!

    Cons

New owners are changing company for the worse. They don't seem to have a clue how to run this iconic CGC company...accept into ground. They just know how to hire a consulting company that tells them how deep they should cut jobs...then the 3G overachieving leadership cuts even more. Current employees are looking to leave, and moral is awful. They are replacing knowledge and experience with the fresh out of school low salary job seekers.

    Pros

good dedicated people who own the brands they work on.

    Cons

since the buyout, employees are stressed and no longer have a work home balance. Too many experience walked out the door when 600 people were left go. The employees remaining are struggling to get things done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

management needs to look at the quality of work being done now against what was done before they "cut the fat"
