I have been working at Henkels & McCoy full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The only pros in this department are the colleagues. There are some very knowledgeable people working for this company and they are willing to help those of us who are not receiving proper training by the upper management.

    Cons

Very high turnover. The new management in pipeline division is struggling to acquire jobs. They do not care about their employees and it is not a "family oriented environment" like they pride themselves to be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know your people. Show a genuine interest in them and their lives. When you come to their office locations, at least stick your head in and say hello and see how they are doing. This will foster trust and a better sense of "team". The chemistry in this company (at least in pipeline division) is next to zero. Everyone is scared they are going to get fired and the attitude is one of "I better look out for myself and no one else, screw the company." This is no lie...you've been warned.

    Pros

Having a weekly paycheck is nice

    Cons

If you are a minority expect to make 5 to 15 percent less than your white counterparts.
Very much still a good old boys company with the CEO as head good ole boy.
