    Bonus potential along with annual Christmas meeting

    Cons

    Lack of training and lack of communication with site level management

    Offer more training as well as communicate more with the site managers.

    I worked at Herman Kittle Properties, Inc. full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Fun holiday parties, twice yearly trips to Indianapolis for business meetings which were fully paid for, some employees were really nice

    Cons

    Poor leadership, chauvinistic ideals, no room for advancement, women who speak up are looked down upon (especially if you're young!), they are all about cost cutting and will let people go to replace them with a cheaper worker or a computer. Employees are not valued.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Realize that the old way of doing things isn't the best way. Women have ideas, great ideas, and deserve to be given a fair shot with this company. Also, if you expect people to perform and achieve goals you set, give them some incentive to do so!! You cannot ask a property manager to achieve a 95%+ occupancy rating for no reason other than you want to make more money. Also, give your property managers more freedom to set pricing. They are more familiar with their area and clientele than you are; acknowledge that and just go with it, especially if you want that high % occupancy rate!!
