I have been working at Hertz full-time for less than a year

Pros

Well-known company, if willing to work long hours, can be rewarding, especially with good bonuses. Driven to succeed by others.

Cons

The employee turnover is pretty high, long work hours interfere with work-life balance, low compensation. Sometimes upper management is not receptive to new ideas.

I have been working at Hertz full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Drive a lot of cars.

    Cons

Long hours. Busy in the summer. Sometimes branches don't look out for one another.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Teach entry level more of the computer instead of concentrating on sales.

I worked at Hertz as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The day to day had lots of sale opportunity. The only thing is they sell this as a managerial role, and just like everything else you do not have anything to do with management. You sell insurance.

    Cons

You are forced to sell insurance to people that can not afford it. They max you out at 24 hours a week but the work week starts on Friday so you always get screwed over. The work was so mundane and boring. You are their whipping post for a few months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tell the truth about what your interns will be doing. Your business model is so outdated and the only way that locations can make any money is to con people into things they don't need and can't afford.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
