Working for Hertz was a huge disappointment. Was great once, but then Frissora's gang took over.

I worked at Hertz full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

On-site cafeteria...yep, that's about it.

Cons

Antiquated technology, ineffective and untrustworthy leadership, poor morale, mediocre salary.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Next time you decide to lay off your workers, you might not want to build three on-site employee gyms immediately afterward; its in poor taste.

    Pros

Lots of vacation time, but work so many hours that it's not a good trade off

    Cons

80+ hours/week, no support from management. Not enough fleet, not enough staff, impossible goals

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to line managers.

I have been working at Hertz full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Dedicated employes.
    Long tenure employees at location

    Cons

Bad leadership runs it like dicatorship, unprofessional. Managers want to bbuy employees friendship to be the most popular manager. It feels like high school all over again where Management constantly worries about who's friends with who and who's talking about what

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practice what you preach ! Come out the bubble and see what goes on at your locations sfo being a good example. Or wait for a pulse survey result where responses are monitored and in plain English the result is just a lie!!!
