I have been working at Hertz full-time (More than a year)

Pros

hours are good, overtime helps

Cons

never enough cars, no help from upper management, poor communication, too high of standards to sell insurance at a high price to people that have insurance, sales policies change, no penetration with insurance companies(enterprise has it locked down)

    good pay for fresh college grad cool co workers networking with other company

    Cons

    washing cars in suits, benefits are 90 day have to push insurances to fiesty people that already are upset that htey have to pay 500 dollar deductibles

    Managers get car benefits Decent entry level job Almost impossible to get fired Laid back, lots of freedom

    Cons

    Nowhere to advance past branch manager Goals are impossible to hit without being given the means to reach them No one above area manager has any idea what the rest of us do Long hours Not enough pay Constantly changing commission structure to ensure we don't get TOO much

    Advice to Management

    Find out what we do. Stop making impossible goals, and then expecting us to meet them without giving us the means to do so. Stay consistant for more then two months
