hertz is a huge corporation, there are going to be positives and negatives to working for any company this size.

Pros

amazing bonuses, interesting people, ability to advance and move around, get to drive all the cool cars, lots to do outside of the office, sales experience, benefits, networking, Hertz is a leader in technology compared to competition,

Cons

customers can be really rude when they dont get what they want, must be extremely detail oriented, high turnover, hours can be early/late/long, dont always have the tools (people, time, cars) nessecary to do something 100% how you would like it to be done, formal training isnt always provided so they expect managers to pass info on to their employees and it does not always happen

    Good people to work with. Clear expectations. Training provided to help you achieve goals.

    Cons

    Hours 7am to 6pm a bit too long if you do not work near where you live. Base salary makes you really reliant on bonus to get by.

    Make base salary a little bit higher so the employees not relying getting bonus.

    Pros

    Perks, benefits, flexibility and an ever changing work environment. As much as you think you can plan for the day or even hour ahead, it's always changing with makes time fly. Hertz is not a company for people that need a break from customer contact or cannot quickly adapt to changes. Those that are most successful can handle and thrive in stressful situations. There is a lot of growth opportunity within because of some many moving parts and Hertz is in a stage of growth that quick advancement is never out of the question.

    Cons

    Staffing. The entire company seems to be notoriously understaffed which makes makes getting things done in a timely manner almost impossible. It can be a lot of hours and the work-life balance is better some weeks than others. I do not recommend the job for those that cannot manage their time (both work and home) effectively.

    Company is operated effectively in most situations minus some consistency between different departments in different areas of the country.
