Current Employee – been working at Hess Corporation

Pros – Hess lets you take on advanced projects and allows a good degree of independence. The organization is very flat which allows for interaction with very senior managers in the company.

Cons – The company sees itself as very transparent in its management decision making process, which it is not. Dissent is at best tolerated and you would be advised to keep your head down if you're not satisfied.

Advice to Senior Management – The leadership needs to learn to listen to its employees criticisms. Sometimes, complaints are reasonable, but there is a strong culture in the company to try to silence any criticism.
