Hewlett-Packard – “A once innovative company”

Pros

HP is a great company with a great history. In context of what the company has done it is easy to be proud to be a part of it. It has a history of innovation and engineering. The Imaging group gives the world HP printers and have been dominant since the early days of printing.

Cons

Investment in innovation is lacking. It is a culture of cost cutting and penny pinching. Too many layers on top and there seems to be some deemphansis on respecting as part of the HP way.

Advice to Senior Management

Invest back into Innovation. Make the company as great as it used to be.
