    I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    In the lower levels, leadership provides you with a lot of flexibility to do your work well while providing you an avenue to lead other initiatives

    Cons

    On an upper management POV, they are making a lt of rash decisions that hurts credibility (ie announcing spin off of PSG before it was merged with IPG) and a lot of budgetary swings during end of quarter that hurts the strategy in the lower level (ie pushing for more growth in a key center then suddenly freezing new hire requisition when the momentum is up just to restart pressure of growing the center)
