I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Have worked on meaningful projects through out my 4+ years with HP
Great focus on employee development in my Business Unit
Proper rewards and recognition
Great team environment, with very low level of office politics
Offers good work life balance

Cons

Overall, company is not doing too well for the past few quarters. Stock price has taken a hammering. If this aspect is taken care of over the next few quarters, I would strongly recommend HP as a great place to work.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Work life balance
Ability to move to different roles within the organization
    Leadership culture

    Cons

As a company, HP is going through transition, and may be perceived to be low on stability, & job security. Verified news about 27K lay off across the globe from HP family.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employee productivity is highly dependent on employee's perception of job security, growth prospects, and career progression. In the midst of all uncertainties, it is vital that Senior management over communicates (rather than under communicate) regarding the possibilities, and help create a feeling of security.
