    I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    * Not too much of work pressure
    * Can have flexi timings.
    * Work from home option
    * Good teammates

    Cons

    * No clear roadmap on what is expected from me.
    * Within the same team itself if you are moved into a new project/ moved to another project which involves you to get connected with people outside the country, no proper guidance is given as to how you would fit into the new role, what sort of expectations are set from the business point of view
    * Too much of junk work given (like writing test cases to someone else's code) if you are moved newly into another project
    * No proper knowledge transfer
    * No proper documentation/guidance which tells what all are the checklist for new people joining the project
    * Management comes back only at the end asking what all work have you done, pointing at what all you could have done when you were having that lean period when you were not doing any work that would make an impact to your business unit.
    * Freshers end up doing too much of work which are not useful for their career. Most of them get frustrated and then hunts for other career opportunities

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please make sure that when you move people to a new project, there is sufficient work in the new project that your subordinates will enjoy doing, rather than make them go through a never-ending ramp up drill.
