Pros

Very few pros - Big global company, many opportunities, particularly as so much good talent is leaving. HP is willing to pay to get people to join and/or stay.

Cons

No long term winning strategy (declining printer/PC business, no mobile strategy, weak services business), very weak senior executive team and EC. This includes the business and functional leaders. Complete lack of ability to make good decisions and implement. Top talent at all levels quickly leaving the sinking ship. Note that only the average and weak talent is left. This is particularly clear across the functions (Finance, HR, Marketing...) as well as the businesses. More will leave as results deteriorate in last quarter and bonuses are limited. Limited focus on people and development. Very uninspiring company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Meg Whitman needs to re-look at the EC and make hard decisions. It's the same players, year after year, making the same mistakes.
