    HP doesn't know how to treat their service segment. They are still very much a product company at heart and that mindset manifests itself in all aspects.

    Figure out how to better manager (and appreciate) the service business you paid $14 bil for in 2008.

    Pros

    Hewlett Packard is a great company with exposure to many different opportunities and technologies. One of the best things about Hewlett Packard is the people that work for it. The people tend to help each other out on projects a lot and know the meaning of teamwork.

    Cons

    As with many large companies, sometimes it takes longer than necessary to get even simple things done. Lots of process and meetings at different levels often slow some things down some.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have less meetings and process and let people get things done in a more expedient way.
