I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    - Can be fun to work here
    - Unlimited sick time.
    - Flexible vacation and time off options.
    - Health benefits are o.k.

    Cons

    - Many employees in my group write their own reviews. This could be seen as a pro to some or a con to those who were genuinely interested in improving.
    - The company is so large that it is difficult to find resources necessary to do your job.
    - Almost every manager I've worked for has had little to no previous management experience and it shows

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is important to advance in your career. As a manager, you should not neglect the people you manage while looking for opportunities to move up or on. These people are not stepping stones.
