    I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Good number of engineer Force.
    2. Good work culture & work life balance ( work from home options based on team manager)
    3. Sometime back it has good perks.
    4. Well exposer to global peers & teams.
    5. Most of Salary components are fixed.
    6. Ample Learning opportunities if person is really interested,

    Cons

    1. Few Unnecessary / Useless number of Managers & senior people (Experts/masters). 2 out of 5 should be forcefully ask to work as an individual contributor or must be eradicated based on their current/previous employees feedback. These guys are well expert to smartly stretch 30 minutes meeting to 2-3 hours meeting most of daily basis in their calendar to show their senior manager how they are loaded/dedicated with work and easily pass 2-3 hours time from daily 8 hours work time ;-).

    2. Some senior technical people like Experts & Masters do not have any work so play politics/tricks to show their busyness to run their monthly bread n butter plus pay monthly EMIs. Most of senior technical people are technically too rusted to get absorbed by another company. and not willing to get rotated to new team else it requires to work them hard :-).

    3. Few Managers are closed to some senior engineers/experts so their work get delegates to other engineers from same team due to their evil-alliance. These guys enjoys work from home privilege on account of their sub-ordinates.

    4. Managers (including HRs) generally do no show courage to oppose to senior person by escalating case so exploited subordinates have to suffer but no choice. Employees complains & Feedbacks merely become formalities. Things are going like a well directed drama play (everyone has his/her well written script to keep play on and well coordination among them so hard to bring down their evil-nexus).

    5. Few Managers drive their team in their own way instead of following HP policy of business conduct. So engineers under them have to work hard to fulfil their managers dreams/goals which in turn get exploited. But then also their effort is not recognised. And no one is free to think just work how to make these managers happy.

    6. Daily many employees arrive at workplace so late and start leaving very early ... horrible situation when another HP employee from out of India visits this site and sees all this mess. ... OMG

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay detail attention on employees feedback plus VoW & try to rectify problem at ground level instead of just publishing it . As most of feedback goes in vain without any fruitful action.
