    Pros

Ability to work at office or home, flexibility cannot be beat.

    Cons

As part of the EDS acquisition, my experience may not be typical of 'real' HP, but that is part of the problem....Software and services are always considered 'outsiders' at HP and not considered except as afterthought in this hardware centric company.

No direction. Yes, we have all heard about the chain of CEO's, but at the mid-tier the management merry-go-round runs even faster. Leaders change more often than passwords around here and each brings with them a new direction. Because of that, it is hard to see a future and position yourself to be part of it.
