Pros

Great culture, high trust and accountability. Its a great company, which promotes very high work balance, at times detrimental to the organization.

Too many org changes, too often can be disruptive to work.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great work life balance. It can be a lot of work but you can shift around your schedule. If you are a top performer, and still low on the pay scale, they have started giving off-cycle pay raises.

    Cons

You need to be a top performer to get the good rewards.
Business is slowing down (but HP is still huge) so it's hard to tell how the rewards will be in the future.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flexible work schedules, work from home options and some career movement opportunities.

    Cons

CEO has the right idea, but there is no culture and management is just out for themselves.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rebuild the HP culture. Hold managers accountable for employee development and success. Prioritize quality over speed. Seek out internal candidates and hire from within, only go outside with high level approval and in extremely rare cases.
