Current Employee – been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time for less than a year
Pros – 1. Flexible location and schedule.
2. Respectful and cooperative co-workers.
3. Opportunities to switch roles (even across functions) and learn new skills within one company.
4. Reputable name to have on the resume.
Cons – 1. Might be a slow ride for someone wants a quick career advancement.
2. Given the size of the company, roles can be too narrowly-defined making it difficult to see the big picture.
Advice to Senior Management – 1. Promote a culture for continuous improvement.
2. Increase efficiency.
