    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

There are amazing people, who put up with a lot, working at HP. The products are good and the atmosphere is quite good, in certain departments.

    Cons

Unbelievable awful decisions about direction.......When will Meg Whitman feel like a part of the company and take responsibility for these decisions instead of blaming others. Leo Apotheker almost put the company out of business. How could he be hired? How did the Autonomy fiasco happen?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leverage the fact that HP has the broadest array of products and services in the industry and move toward a solution company versus a "widget/commodity" seller.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
