    Pros

Really cool people work at HP, of course some do suck, but the majority of them are pretty cool.
Days go by fast because you are constantly working. The projects we worked on were cutting edge technology so that was fun.

    Cons

Decisions are slow to happen - Same pitfall with alot of larger companies
They will work you until you burn out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make things happen quicker... your time to run things up the chain and get an answer are simply rediculous.

    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Some of the best and brightest IT talent are found at HP. Smart people, performing admirably day after day.

    Cons

Team members are held back, provided confusing information, and have no company culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Define the HP company culture, instill it in everyone in the company. Listen to the team members with their hands on the work - they know what is really going on and senior executives need to hear their unvarnished input and take action.
