    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

It was an income for awhile

    Cons

The company does not care about their employees at all. In 14 years of working there I saw more back stabbing and and corporate manipulation of self serving management than anyplace else. HP doesn't seem to have a compass and fails to lead in a positive way. During a two year period I had 6 different managers. if they would stop juggling their internal careers and let the sales people provide a solid product they might have a chance. In the end we took a decrease in pay to avoid any further layoffs only to get laid off anyway.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of those that are hiding or avoiding the real people committed to doing good things.
