Good place to learn but a lot of work.

    I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time

    Pros

There are a lot of smart people that work at Hp and they are all pretty nice. If you're in technical support then you will always run into new problems that you have to learn how to fix. It's a good position to gain experience if your just starting out.

    Cons

There is a lot to do and there will be days when you're always busy (however I've heard that my department is the busiest so it may not be the case). They should also pay us more for the work that we are doing.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible work hours and good variety of projects and technologies. Very easy to balance work/life here and management acts with sensibility on this matter.

    Cons

Although projects vary in technologies, most of them (in my office) is outdated in this sense. Management should definitely do a better job in many aspects, from communication to career. Although it´s improving there´s still a lot of paperwork and bureocracy which is mandatory.
