Cons

I'm in the Software business and overall strategy is driven by services and hardware. Software is a step child and the profit margin demanded by corporate makes no sense for a rapidly growing unit. Results in major under performance vs. competitors.

Advice to Senior Management

Focus on top line growth, at least in the SW biz, rather than expense and headcount cuts. We're just falling further behind competitors...
